Supporting Individuals and Families in Lawrence County

The Family Liaison Program in Lawrence County supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, along with their caregivers, by providing connections to resources, community supports, and inclusive opportunities.

As a Charting the LifeCourse Ambassador, the Family Liaison supports individuals and families in identifying goals, navigating transitions, and planning for a meaningful life.

How We Support Individuals, Families, and Caregivers

  • Resource navigation for families, caregivers, and individuals

  • Support with understanding services, programs, and community options

  • LifeCourse framework and tools to help plan for transitions or other life events and one-on-one guidance

  • Information and resources on rights, safety, wellness, and advocacy

  • Social opportunities, workshops, trainings, and events

  • Collaboration with providers, schools, and community partners

  • Regular newsletters and email updates

  • Assistance finding trainings, recreational activities, and supports

Who Can Participate in the Family Liaison Program?

The program is available to individuals of any age with intellectual disabilities and autism, along with caregivers, professionals, and community partners.

Enrollment in another program is not required.
